Other the than TD-124 this is probably the second-best turntable made by Thorens. The TD-125 is belt driven, and a has a great built-in strobe light.

It also has a simple switch to select 16, 33, and 45 RPM, along with fine adjustment for setting the speed to perfection.

Best part about this 'table is that it's fully suspended. Meaning it has springs floating the platter and tonearm to reduce the ill effects of vibration.

This unit is fitted with our favorite tonearm. The highly regarded vintage SME3009 rich full of features, adjustability, and performance. Best of all you don't have to worry about any of these settings, as we'll carefully calibrate and tune the arm to perfection prior to packing.

Condition is very good on everything, except the acrylic cover which as some scratches but is structurally sound. (I don't like covers especially fixed ones, since they act like a sail and absorb all the sound waves in the air and transmit them down to the cartridge).

We fitted a brand new Sumiko Amethyst MM (Moving-Magnet) phono cartridge, but feel free to supply your own.

We also fitted a very high quality record weight that looks the part too.
