Restocking Fee
As a small business, cancellations create a great deal of work and expense for us. The effort to undo a transaction affects all parts of our business including accounting, website, shipping, final testing, and more.
In addition, our credit card processor does not refund any of the credit card charges, which are sizable.
I realize that we're all used to instant cancellations and refunds from companies like Amazon, but that's just not feasible for a small company.
For these reasons we must charge a cancellation fee to covers our costs:
Any items that have not shipped will incur a 10% fee to cover the credit card fees and time necessary to undo the order.
Any items that have shipped will incur a 30% restocking fee to cover all the associated expenses, including shipping.
