Part of Technics' 55th anniversary saw the legendary turntable manufacture announce a special edition turntable named the SL-1210GAE. Only 1210 units of this model were sold worldwide making it very limited for a large scale company like Technics. Each table is numbered on a gold plack on the right bottom corner.

The SL-1200GAE introduced Technics’ newly developed coreless direct-drive motor, eliminating cogging and significantly improving rotational stability. It features a heavyweight, multi-layer plinth, a magnesium S-shaped tonearm, and a high-mass platter designed for low resonance and long-term durability. These are features that we take for granted on our favorite standard edition SL-1200G turntables, but this all started with this model.

This particular SL-1210GAE has never been opened and has been in its original box since its release in 2016 10 years ago! Paired with turntable will be a brand new Lyra Kleos MC Phono cartridge ($4495). This table is incredibly special and it deserves a cartridge like this mounted. It will be calibrated in house using our proven 12-step calibration process ($390).
