McIntosh currently does not make a stereo amplifier of this power rating 500W/1000W.
You’d have to move to monoblocks to equal this unit's high wattage output (MC601’s) which would set you back close to $15k.
This amplifier has been thoroughly tested on our bench and is performing to specifications. It received a complete internal cleaning and new bulbs.
Cosmetically it’s as nice as we’ve ever seen with very few scratches or signs of use.
The top cover paint and stencil is intact, which is pretty rare in a piece of this age.
It also has the rare champagne silver faceplate and aluminum rear cage/handles. Absolutely stunning!
Comes complete with power cord, manual, and all brochures.
Single owner unit since new. Will be double boxed for safe transport.
