A *painstakingly stunning restoration* of the classic and coveted Thorens TD-124.

The high gloss rosewood finish is absolutely gorgeous and will look great in just about any living room - or any room in our opinion.

This restoration was recently completed in our lab and features the following upgrades:

• Multi-layer and solid plinth finished in a real high gloss rosewood veneer.
• Matching Rosewood arm-board machined by hand in our shop specifically for the SME tonearm. 
• Perfectly working and sorted TD-124 drive mechanicsm with a 46XXX serial number. Lubricated and ready to spin your vinyl for another 50 years. 
• Thorens "record clam" stabilizer in a Thorens wooden box.
• Special SME3009 tonearm reconditioned by Alfred Kayser from smetonearms.com and fresh out of the box. Features (among the many upgrades) a solid brass base and upgraded wiring. 

Includes a brand new, installed and calibrated, Grado Black 2 cartridge. A great budget cartridge so you can use your table right out of the box until you sort out exactly what you’d like.

We also offer the full range of Sumiko cartridges, as well as other phono cartridges that can be mounted and calibrated for you. Or if you already have a favorite cartridge, you're welcome to send it in and we'll mount and professionally calibrate it on this 'table at no additional charge.

If you're unfamiliar with the setup of a turntable, we're here and ready to help on the phone or via FaceTime during your initial unboxing.  We’ve done this a bunch of times with great success.

All of our available phono cartridge options from our above link include a full calibration at no additional charge (about a 2hr detailed process of perfectly setting and calibrating many parameters to ensure highest performance).
