This is the most desirable version of the head block for audiophiles since it can do 1/2 track recording.  

The RP-2224 is capable of 1/2 track recording, and with its front-mounted switch 1/2 track and 1/4 track playback are both possible. Perfect for someone who wants to listen occasionally to pre-recorded 1960's 7-inch tapes that are often recorded in 1/4 track.

The original box will come with the head block, which will be double-boxed with SealedAir custom expanding foam to ensure safe travels to your home.
