Pretty serious power conditioner that recently arrived in our shop as part of a large audiophile system purchase.

Each outlet was tested for proper power and confirmed working properly.

All digits in the front display are bright and fast, and all switches are working as they should.

Plus it features a super heavy duty captive power cord. Rack mountable but the rack ears are not included.

More from a Crutchfield review written by James Ralston:
TVs, DVD players, A/V receivers…all your home theater components operate their best when they receive 120 volts of AC power. However, they may not often get it. You may experience voltage sags in your power line due to heavy local use, or even your own household appliances — which can translate to a loss of audio and video quality. Monster's innovative AVS 2000 corrects voltage irregularities in your AC line, delivering a stable 120 volts of power for top performance from your home theater system every time.

Sporting an attractive (and incredibly solid) design, the AVS 2000 features 6 voltage-corrected AC outlets on its back panel: 4 switched, 2 always-on. Sequential power-up with programmable delay time (for switched outlets) prevents sudden turn-on surges that can result in audible thumps and pops from your speakers. Three illuminated digital meters on the front panel (for input/output voltage, voltage correction, and current usage) let you monitor your system's power conditions. Safety Overload Disconnect protects your connected gear when current draw exceeds the limitations of your home wiring.

If a dangerous power fluctuation occurs, causing voltage to drop below 80V or rise above 140V, the AVS 2000 automatically shuts off its outlets to protect your home theater components.

Further Specs and Details:
• voltage correction range: 80-140V AC
• safety overload disconnect
• illuminated front-panel digital meters indicate input/output voltage, voltage correction, and current usage
• 6 color-coded, labeled AC outlets on rear panel (4 switched, 2 always-on)
• sequential power-up for switched outlets (with individually adjustable delay time for each outlet)
• gold-plated ground post thumb screw for any ungrounded components
• DC input/output jacks for remote system control (1/8" mini jacks, cord not included)
• LED indicators for "ground OK", "line and neutral OK", "switched outlets on", "surge protection" (lights up when active), "normal voltage condition", and "abnormal voltage condition"
• rack-mountable (Rack Ears Not Included)
• 8-foot Monster "PowerLine 300" power cord with 24k gold-plated contacts

More from a Stereophile review written by Chip Stern:
Monster Cable's AVS 2000 exudes no discernible heat while offering a clever, straightforward response to the kind of anomalies that occur when appliances, machines, and commercial enterprises combine to place varying demands on the local power grid, causing wild fluctuations that can seriously impede the audio quality of your components, and even inflict long-term damage.

"Filters are mainly concerned with removing broadband noise," explained audio designer Demian Martin, who developed both the AVS 2000 and the Sigma Retro Gold line of cables and interconnects for Monster. "However, what the filters do not do is address problems of power-supply instabilities where the voltages fluctuate, and also where the higher load causes the supplies to sag. When the voltage goes high, it puts a lot of stress on capacitors. When the voltage goes low, it can put a great deal of stress on semiconductors, because they need to draw more current to deliver the same output. In either case, the heat output goes up and the life [of the semiconductors] will be shortened. Inside the AVS 2000 there's a large variable transformer—a variation on a Variac—that employs a special servo-motor with its own computer monitor, which dynamically adjusts it to hold the output voltage within 1% of 120V. The AVS 2000 is designed to maintain that within 30 amps continuous draw. On momentary transients, it can actually deliver 120 amps without substantial sag."
