Mark Levinson No.331 Solid State Amplifier
The unit was then bench tested for several days at every power level while the output was carefully monitored.
While servicing the unit I was surprised at the build quality, attention to detail, and component selection.
Cosmetically this unit is in near perfect condition.
There is no discoloration on the heatsink or any significant scratches or scuffs which is quite unusual for an amplifier of this weight and size.
On the back you will find some of the best speaker terminals in the industry. There are two complete sets which can be hand tightened for a super snug fit.
There is also a set of high quality gold RCA single ended input terminals and fully balanced XLR terminals.
The 12V triggers are a bit unusual as they utilize momentary voltage to trigger on rather than the usual constant voltage. If you have other ML gear then you’ll want to use the proprietary RJ11 connectors to link the units together.
Unit will be packed in a double McIntosh box worth about $300. If you’ve ever packed a Mcintosh amplifier then you’ll understand how awesome their packing materials are and won’t be worried about travel damage.
Unit will include a power cord.
Matching No.38 preamp also available.
