The CL-32 utilizes no less than 7 tubes to get the job done, indicating that the renowned Japanese firm did not take any shortcuts in the design or implementation.

You’ll often see Audio Research tube preamps costing $3-5k with just a single tube for both channels.

There is no lack of features either, featuring 2 tape loops, 2 phono inputs with selectable input impedance, a subsonic filter, and nifty linear EQ.

Best of all it’s hand made in Japan.

Condition is very good with only a few slight scratches.

Tubes are strong and close in spec to each other. Pots are quiet and clean.
