I had a very similar speaker (Spendor SP100) at home for the past 2 years and fell in love. When this pair came available I just had to have them to relive the magic.

I replaced them with something totally different since I like to try out new technologies and experience a vast array of products. 

I'm a big fan of thin wall British monitor speakers and these outperformed any other pair I've heard.

These are said to be tuned to the human voice as a reference, and it sure comes through. The midrange is absolutely spine tingling when you put on your favorite female jazz vocalist.

Over the years I've owned just about every vintage KEF, Harbeth, Spendor, or Rogers, and they all fell short in terms of bass performance. Great mids and highs, but just not enough bass to have a meaningful impact. 

These also feature a pristine and gorgeous Eucalyptus finish that is both striking and pleasant.

They show little to no signs of wear, and come with both grills, manual, and original packing which will allow them to travel safely anywhere in the world.

All drivers are perfect with zero wear and tear.

Testing Process:

Our speaker evaluation process starts with a visual inspection of all drivers. We are looking for damaged or deteriorating woofer surrounds, dented tweeter domes, and cone damage. We also inspect the speaker connection points for loose or broken connectors.

After the initial visual inspection we connect the speakers to a reference amplifier with our preferred test tracks. With the speakers placed with proper distance we listen to each driver to make sure that they are producing the intended frequencies with no signs of distortion or rattle. During listening tests with test tracks we check for proper stereo imaging and bass response at various listening levels. If there are any audible signs of issues, the speakers are taken to the bench where we perform a frequency sweep to isolate the issue so that it can be resolved by component repair or replacement.
