I selected this system for an apartment in Miami and liked the results so much I decided to make it readily available. See my full length video bellow. 

Don't let the "Starter System" moniker fool you. This system will blow your socks off!

I started with a moderately prided and sized speaker from Klipsch which happens to be their best seller that was also recently redesigned.  

Since the Heresy is a super high-efficiency speaker we were able to pair it with a sweet sounding low-power amplifier from Technics, the SU-GX70. As with most transistor amplifiers, the lower the power the simpler the circuitry which results in better sound quality. The 30W is more than sufficient while allowing for quite a bit of headroom.  

Best of all the Technics integrated has just about every streaming platform built into it, keeping things simple to connect and utilize.  

For a turntable its was an easy choice, the SL-1500C is a rock solid great performing table and quite possibly the best you can buy in this price range.

We finished off the system with our favorite speaker cable from Kimber, the 8TC in a 2.5 meter length.

Possible upgrades would include:

1. If you have a larger room upgrade to the Klipsch Forte IV.

2. If you want a bit more resolution from the turntable, upgrade the cartridge to the Sumiko Blue Point No. 3 (Moving-Coil High or Low Output)

3. If you want a step-up in turntable performance, consider the SL-1200GR2 or SL-1200G.
