Very capable and well-built processor from Canadian maker Classe Audio.

While the video switching is outdated, the audio section is still very relevant and hard to beat for the price.

Plus we always feel it's better to connect your video sources directly to the TV anyway.

The two channel performance of this piece makes it well worth the effort.

This processor has been configured for use a stereo preamplifier with digital inputs. This was originally designed as an AV processor, but the Composite and S-Video style connections have since become obsolete.

We do not have the original remote but we will include a Classe remote control that controls volume and mute. The source selection must be carried out with front panel buttons. Also note that the volume knob uses a rotary encoder that is a bit jumpy sometimes, but volume control via remote is nice and smooth.

Configuration details:
We used an internal shop testing/universal remote to configure the assignable inputs of the unit so that it's ready to go for stereo use.

Digital inputs take priority, but if no digital signal is detected the unit will default to the assigned analog input.

If you wish to further tweak assignments, input names, etc. you'll need a display compatible with S)Video or Composite to use with the On Screen Display output, and a compatible remote with menu and directional commands (NOT INCLUDED). 

Speaker Configuration - Front Left and Right Set to Large, all other speakers and subs disabled, distance and level set to zero.
