When clients tell us that they don't like the sound of modern speakers because they are too bright and analytical, we often point them to B&W's from this era.

While they are super dynamic and can deliver a good modern punch, they lack the edginess or "brightness" of modern speakers, resulting in a more natural sound which often eliminated listener fatigue.

This specific set is what we at SkyFi call a Collectors Set and includes:

1) Super rare and desirable Krell Active Bass Alignment Filter made specifically for the Matrix line. This active device will ensure you get them best and tightest bass humanly possible with this speaker. If you're not interested let us know and we'll deduct $3500.

2) Matching stands made by Sound Anchors complete with spikes.

3) Original packaging for the speakers including the inner foam.

4) Accessory pack including the brush used to the keep them clean and tidy (!).

5) Original gold jumpers in case you don't have the ability to bi-wire (the aftermarket cable jumpers pictured are not included).

6) Original brochure for the Matrix line.

7) All four grills with no tears and all mounting posts INTACT!

Condition:
The drivers are absolutely perfect, with no creases or signs of stress.

The cabinets don't have the typical scratches or dented corners, and even more surprisingly the speakers grills have ALL their fixed posts intact as also mentioned above.

(In our opinion they look super cool without the grills, but the grills are still included in case you have aggressive cats).
