Jadis JD1 Drive CD Transport with Power Supply - The Last One!

We had the good fortune to come across three of these remarkable and gorgeous statement piece CD transports.

Two sold quickly and this is the last of the bunch.

Handmade in France. Amazing build quality and exotic looks. Feels and weighs as if it were made out of solid block.

Considered to be one of the best Redbook CD drives (transports) ever made.

A retail price sheet indicates this cost $19,000 in 1996 which is over $30k in today's dollars.

Features Include:
• Hand operated top loading door
Magnetic CD Puck
Designed in two suspended pieces
• Digital Only Outputs: RCA & BNC SPDIF, Glass (ST), and Balanced AES/EBU
Remote and manual are included
Original high quality shipping box will all packing materials.

This piece came to us from a deceased collector and extreme audiophile that was in the process of assembling a very complex reference Jadis system comprised of over 20 components.

This is in near perfect-condition, fully tested, and lightly used. Super bright display, very responsive controls, quick access to tracks.

To build a unit of this quality would cost over $30k today.
