System of the Week - from an actual barn upstate

This system of the week comes from a barn upstate, and the equipment was chosen to fit in aesthetically as well as for performance.  

It's a mix of both modern and vintage McIntosh equipment, which is one of the reasons we absolutely love Mc. You can mix stuff from the 70’s and 80’s with modern pieces and it all looks and works well together.  

The lineup includes (from right to left) a vintage MR78 tuner, vintage MPI-4 performance indicator, modern C48 preamp, vintage MC2125 amplifier, and a pair of Spendor SP1 speakers.  

In the back you can just make out the Linn LP12 turntable which is currently available for purchase from our store.
