Here is one of the rarest pieces to come by our shop, part of a large collection we acquired from a serious collector. All well maintained and cared for.
Very interesting design and execution. Absolute head turner in terms of cosmetics and form. The smaller piece is the controller housing the display, power supply and control buttons. The larger unit contains the 7 disc changer and DAC. The end caps are finished in some deep exotic wood (probably rosewood) and the chassis is painted gloss black for a striking appearance.
Even the remote has rosewood side panels.
There are very few of these in the world and here is your chance to pick one up in the USA from a reputable seller. Production numbers were less than 200 units and most were sold in Asia.
We have compared this unit to our reference Mark Levinson No.31 CD player combo and it keeps right up with it. Plus it gives you the convenience of loading 7 discs at a time.
This rare Dragon comes in the original box and includes the remote, display unit, drive unit, 2 umbilical cables, and the original box. I can print you a manual if you read Japanese.
Cosmetically it’s sure not to disappoint. There are a few light scuffs here and there, but you can tell it’s been well cared for. The display is bright and clear and the remote functions as it should. The drawer mechanism loads fast and responsive.
Fully tested for many days without a hiccup or skipping.
Will ship in its original box and will be put inside another box to preserve the original Nakamichi packaging.
