This listing is for a striking VAC (Valve Amplification Company) Standard Preamp in the Limited Edition version.

It is a two piece preamp featuring a separate power supply section.

It is finished in an unusual speckled gloss back paint with very high quality solid brass knobs and will surely stand out in your system.

Connecting the two units is an umbilical cable with military spec connectors. Two piece preamps allow for a super quiet signal since the power supply can be placed further from the highly sensitive preamp section.

As you can see in the pictures this is a single ended version with RCA connectors for all inputs and outputs.

Best of all it has a cinema mode which allows you to fix the gain so you can use it as part of a theater setup.

There are 6 line level inputs, and a tape loop.

We have tested this unit in the lab carefully and found it to be in top shape. All capacitors are within spec and the tubes tested strong.

It’s a very warm and articulate sounding preamp built with the highest quality components available.
