This OEM Technics headshell features an adjustable azimuth, meaning you can fine-tune the vertical alignment of your phono cartridge's stylus relative to the record's surface. Azimuth adjustment ensures that the stylus sits perfectly perpendicular to the grooves, optimizing sound quality.

When the azimuth is properly set, both the left and right channels of your stereo signal are balanced reducing distortion and improving stereo separation. If the azimuth is off, you may notice an imbalance in the audio that presents itself as a "muddier" sound.

Being able to adjust the azimuth provides flexibility for achieving the best possible playback and preserving your records.

In addition to the adjustable azimuth, this headshell includes leads with gold plated connectors, and the bayonet pin is rounded over. Knockoff headshells will have hard cut bayonet pins that can actually damage the headshell socket in the arm.
