Spica Angelus Speakers

My first real set of speakers were Spica TC50’s. Used them all through college and really enjoyed their natural timbre and imaging.  I had always heard that the Angelus were even better, so when this set became available I jumped at the chance.  

Boy where they right, these speakers image like nothing I have heard.  I don’t know how they do it… it’s just a simple 2 way design with a sloped baffle.  The magic must be in the crossover and the driver selection I recon.  

These are easy going speakers and are sure not to offend in any category.  They go way deeper than the TC50s and are able to play way louder.  

The looks are striking in my opinion and resemble no other speaker I’ve seen.  The wood veneers are simply gorgeous and the shape is quite unique.  

Condition is excellent with only the slightest signs of use.  The veneer on the bottom where it meets the floor has flaked in a few spots (very common) but there are no scratches or dents that are visible.  

The drivers operate perfectly and have been well tested in the lab and in the listening room.  The surrounds on the woofers are very healthy and should work for another 30 years.  The grill coverings are intact and the grill frames are solid.
