With the third generation of Vox, the Homage collection has a speaker designed and developed to guarantee a genuinely exclusive Home Theater experience.

Homage Series

This generation of Homage keeps the classic iteration of the lute shape first introduced in the previous Homage Tradition family, inspired by the Viva Aquarama water vessel, a staple of the midcentury ‘Dolce Vita’ era of Italian pop culture.

The metalwork, however, has been modified, replacing the angled edges with smooth, rounded ones. The color of this metalwork too has changed, replacing a choice of black and brushed aluminum with a single anodized grey offering leaving the moving parts brushed.

Featuring a new naming convention which identifies each model by its generation and a return to the coveted Graphite finish as an additional option, the entire series keeps the most pertinent technologies from the previous generation.

NEW DRIVERS

The Vox Generation 3G woofer has been enhanced with a new voice coil and spider material that create greater air movement and bass extension. The new midrange drivers harness Powerful Neodynium magnets for fast, precise, and controlled voice coilcontrol.

PHASE PLUG

Discovered through a computer simulation, the new Phase Plug is another new innovation which optimizes the air movement of the driver to reduce turbulence while guiding soundwaves to reinforce their propagation into a more consistent wave pattern that listening distances. The result is a smoother frequency response with higher levels of clarity both on and off axis.

D.A.D TWEETER

The 28 mm silk soft dome tweeter features the DAD technology (Damped Apex Dome) that enhances the smoothness and extension in the high requency by applying local dampening to the apex typically responsible for anti-phase behavior of soft dome diaphragms. The DAD structure has been totally redesigned; a solid piece of aluminum die-cast includes both arch and ring on the dome to increase the strength and accuracy of the system.

INTONO TECHNOLOGY

The Amati, Serafino, and Vox models contain a major new innovation for the collection: InTono. Thanks to the internal cabinet's special structure, which reduces the acoustic pressure generated within a given frequency range, these new loudspeakers always produce midrange frequencies free of any colouration.

STEALTH ULTRAFLEX

Functioning as the exponential section of the duct and thanks to its design, Stealth Ultraflex improves the aerodynamic flow of the air stream emitted by the reflex ducts and is an integral part of the system. The extruded aluminum parts give further structural rigidity to the cabinet and now come in a beautiful deep grey brushed aluminum finish.

WOOD

Nine layers of natural wood are combined according to the grain and finished with nine coats of beautiful lacquer. Then, multiple steps of sanding and brushing by hand ensure every Sonus faber speaker is a joy to behold. In keeping with the ethos of Homage, Vox Generation 3 marries state-of-the-art sound technology with visual artistry in three stunning finishes: Graphite, Wenge and Red.
