The Model 9 was the top of the line for Marantz in the late 1960's, and while they do come up for sale on occasion, this particular set stands out because of its condition and restoration work.

We recently restored this set in-house making them reliable and safe to operate, while maintaining the critical original components that make this model sound so sweet.

This delicate balance - HARD to achieve - can have terrible affects if taken too far.

Some technicians not familiar with its circuit design often go too far and replace components with modern equivalents, degrading its sonic signature.

Included is a set of good condition and very coveted Telefunken output tubes.

Physical condition is the best we've ever seen. No signs of use or abuse anywhere to found. All paintwork and writing is intact and original!
