The Isobarik, or "bricks" as aficionados refer to them, were one of the most advanced speakers in the 1970's and important enough to have their own page.

The bricks came in two versions: 1) The plain Jane residential ones 2) The professional active studio monitors. PMS stands for Professional Monitor System.

There are companies in the UK that offer these beasts refurbished for about $10k, catering to the healthy collector market. Problem is that by the time you import and ship them to the USA, you're spending a small fortune.

They are as close to new and we've even seen, with all the drivers super clean and healthy. with flexible pliable surrounds and intact tweeter domes. All the wood surfaces look amazing, and the cabinets are near perfect with little signs of use.
