This is a very capable passive subwoofer from JBL in the 1980's, capable of tremendous bass in both residential and commercial applications.
We found it to be *perfect* with our reference JBL 4343 speakers.
*Note on the JBL model #'s for this cabinet & subwoofer system. This subwoofer is JBL model # 4645 meaning it consists of a 4518 cabinet and 2245H 18" driver/woofer.
