The RS451 is HiFi ROSE's next-generation network streamer, combining the brand's advanced digital audio technologies.

It adopts the powerful architecture of the flagship RS151 model while offering intuitive user guidance and a compact design—ideal for desktop audio setups. Equipped with a powerful ES9027PRO DAC, the RS451 uses separate DAC circuits for the pre-out and headphone output to deliver finely tuned, high-quality sound in any listening environment. The pre-out section is equipped with a precise DAC circuit that integrates seamlessly into high-quality audio systems.

The dedicated headphone DAC is combined with four powerful amplifiers to ensure precise impedance matching, low noise levels, and powerful drive. The RS451 offers a balanced combination of performance, design, and ease of use, setting a new standard for the HiFi ROSE audio experience.

Advanced DAC architecture
The ES9027PRO used in the RS451 is a high-quality 32-bit DAC with eight channels, based on ESS's HyperStream® architecture, offering precise performance optimized specifically for hi-fi audio applications.

It offers an impressive dynamic range of up to +124 dB and a THD+N value of 114 dB, enabling fine and clean sound reproduction. With support for PCM up to 768 kHz and SD512, it ensures full compatibility with high-resolution audio formats. Seven built-in digital filters allow users to fine-tune the sound characteristics to their own preferences.

In the RS451, the eight DAC channels are configured in a parallel 4-channel structure for stereo output, enabling an even wider dynamic range and exceptionally noise-free performance.

Innovative headphone architecture
The RS451 is equipped with two ES9027PRO DACs – one is assigned to the pre-out, the other to the headphone output. This completely separates the analog audio signal paths from each other.

Each DAC has its own independent power supply and grounding, which effectively prevents interference and minimizes noise for clean audio output. The powerful headphone amplifier section consists of four individually controlled amplifiers that deliver strong and stable output power even with low-impedance headphones.

The completely separate power supply concept for each channel helps to suppress crosstalk, while the ultra-low-noise circuitry ensures linear reproduction across the entire frequency range. This design ensures consistent drive performance across different impedance requirements and delivers excellent transparency and tonal balance even with high-resolution audio files.

Highest precision in headphone output
The RS451's headphone amplifier uses four high-performance amplifier ICs in a parallel connection, ensuring stable control even with high-impedance headphones over 600 Ω. The ultra-fast slew rate of 1300 V/μs minimizes signal distortion and enables extremely responsive playback, accurately reproducing the finest sound impulses and dynamic changes in the music.

The THD+N value remains consistently low across all impedance ranges, underscoring the RS451's ability to deliver balanced, high-resolution sound with precision and clarity in any headphone environment.

ROSE NRA™ Filter (Noise Reduction Analog)
The analog output stage of the RS451 is equipped with the ROSE NRA™ filter, which eliminates noise and enables linear frequency response even in the very low frequency range. As a result, the RS451 maintains consistent frequency characteristics across the entire frequency spectrum without roll-off, delivering original sound information from high-resolution sources with clarity and high fidelity.

Powerful 8-core CPU for maximum computing power
The RS451 is equipped with the RK3588, a next-generation 8-core CPU that offers four times the information processing power and eight times the graphics performance of its predecessor.

In addition, the DRAM has been doubled from 4 GB to 8 GB and the eMMC memory expanded from 8 GB to 32 GB, resulting in more than twice the processing speed.

This enables smooth playback of large audio files and high-resolution 4K HDR videos. At the same time, the media library has been tripled in size and now supports over a million titles.
