This is a rare set of 511B Horns from Altec Lansing.

Both are in perfect structural condition, but otherwise fair cosmetic condition as shown in our photos.

"ALTEC 511B and 811B Sectoral Horns are designed for the mid or high frequency section of two-way or three-way sound systems. The 511B and 811B differ only in cutoff frequency and size.

Exponential expansion and straight throat configuration ensure uniform control of the sound dispersion pattern — 90° horizontal by 40° vertical — and exacting reproduction of the middle and high frequencies.

Of lightweight aluminum, these horns feature a front-mounting flange for easy installation.

Recommended for use with these horns are the ALTEC 902 series, the 908 series and the 731C High Frequency Drivers.

The 511MB Accessory is available to aid in mounting the larger 511B Horn. The mounting bracket supports the throat and attached driver of the 511B, while allowing adjustment in the horizontal plane."

Cosmetic Condition:
6/10  = Fair. Three to four minor scratches, or one major scratch. Speakers may have one major scratch that shows through to an inner layer (if applicable). Grill covers might need to be recovered or replaced (if still possible).

Working Condition:
Working perfectly and tested in our lab and listening room.
