KLH Model 9 Electrostatic Speakers, Complete SET!

This is a Legendary Set of KLH Model Nine Speakers in what we call "Survivor Condition"

Best of all they have been in storage since 1982! Thus, their electrostatic panels have seen much less use than is typical for KLH Nines.

These were purchased by our client in the 1970's, and are maybe among the last sets made by KLH. They pair really well with vintage ARC tube amps ranging from 75W to 150W. Our client did just that during their lifespan.

Both speakers are in very good to excellent condition cosmetically, with a few light stains on the original cloth. Most of which cleaned up well here in our shop. They function like new, and have never been modified.

We have thoroughly tested these speakers and found them to be in perfect working order. There are no rattles or buzzing of any sort. They play loud and clear and will surely impress their new owner.

We also have the original boxes for both of the power supplies, the original base plates, as well as the original manual as shown in our photos.

And get this we actually have a second set of these from the same owner. This is because they actually used the four speakers all at once as a front soundstage quad set.

One of the other speakers from this second pair is currently undergoing restoration, so if you're interested in all four please let us know and we will reserve the second set for you. The second set also comes with the original hardware, as pictured, necessary to join the two for an ultimate KLH Nine experience!

The model 9 is a 16 Ohm speaker so you will want 16ohm taps on your amplifier to get the most out of them.  A second set of speakers would allow you to run them both at 8 Ohms which most users will choose to do. 

This listed pair of two KLH 9's can ship anywhere in the lower 48 US states for a $1100 flat fee. We can ship really anywhere else too so just contact us for a quote if you're outside of this area.
