This Opus MM2 12ft speaker cable was sent to Transparent to replace all the spades with a fresh set and to check its performance. Transparent has performed the necessary repair, and says that it performs up to spec for the Mark Levinson 33H amplifiers and similar. 

It is not a recertified product and has no warranty from Transparent Audio.

The original owner had Levinson 33H amps with Wilson Alexandria X-II Series 1 speakers.
 
Transparent Recertification Policy:
If a buyer wants to calibrate this wire to a specific amplifier, there are two options, and the cable must be sent through an authorized dealer which we will coordinate.
 
Option 1) One time calibration to your amplifier of choice:
There is no warranty with this option and the customer cannot use the cable on the Transparent upgrade program.

Option 2) Lifetime calibration:
This entitles the owner to send back the cable for a free calibration any time the amplifier is changed. It also gives the customer a lifetime warranty and the cables are eligible for the Transparent upgrade program.

The Opus MM Speaker Cable consists of many heavy strands of individually insulated oxygen-free copper. We specifically chose the strand size for its low noise, low resonance properties in audio signal applications.

OPUS MM is so quiet and resolving that final adjustments to the network require tolerances to 1/100 of an ohm and 1 picofarad. The extremely quiet listening environment provided by the new Transparent Music and Film Studio was instrumental to the development of OPUS MM.

To keep resonance from obscuring the nuances of the music signal as it travels through the cable and network, a large mass of epoxy damping material encapsulates the Opus MM network, which is then encased with carbon fiber.

The network pod sits upon a thick acrylic plinth supported by four adjustable feet, to insure stable 4-point contact and decouple the network from room borne resonance.
