One of the most formidable speakers money can buy.
These are better suited for a large to medium sized room than their bigger sibling Alexandria also available from SkyFi at time of writing.
In gorgeous condition, used around 30hrs, barely broken in. How do we know its was only 30hrs? Give us a call and we'll explain.
I'm not going to say much about the crazy performance of these beauties. I'll leave that to the professionals, so please see Michael Fremers review linked below.
With an MSRP of $110k these should provide the dissenting but bargain hunting audiophile great value, as they are barely used. The current generation Alexx V would set you back up to $151K.
The original and only owner of these paid over $125K inc tax to have these installed in Feb 2018 from a Wilson dealer in NYC. We retrieved them from the exact place they were installed so they were moved minimally. Original receipt will be included with purchase.
These are complete with manuals and all accessories. If shipping is required we'll send them to our local Craters and Freighters for packing and shipping at the buyers expense. Please inquire for shipping details.
Local courier delivery within 50 miles of our shop is available (Zip 07452).

Wilson's All-new Alexx
"Provenance"—in the art world refers to the place of origin or history of a particular piece of art. Provenance has special meaning to Wilson Audio, in this case in exploring Wilson's latest foray into the large speaker category. In this video, Dave and Daryl Wilson discussed the Alexx, its technologies and architecture. Together they examined Alexx's unique relationship both to the speakers that precede it, as well as to the WAMM, with which it was co-developed. Alexx was the fourth all-new loudspeaker from Wilson in as many years, and its inception, short of the WAMM, brought more technology and innovation and experience than any previous design from any company.
Time & Sound
Aspherical Propagation Delay describes the unique adjustability of Alexx’s modules to precisely align all the drivers in the time domain, in conjunction with the ability to optimize driver dispersion for literally hundreds of potential listening positions. With Alexx, the upper-midrange module features its own alignment block, which, in conjunction with the Alexia-style mid/ tweeter array below.
Drivers
The strategic advantage of developing Alexx alongside WAMM is perhaps best exemplified with new technology surrounding the all-important midrange. For the first time, two different midrange drivers are spec’d in the MTM array, each optimized to cover a specific portion of the midrange. Wilson’s venerable seven-inch unit, first introduced in the Alexandria Series 2, covers the lower midrange.
Enclosure Materials
Wilson’s proprietary X-material, now in its third generation, is the ideal “launch pad” for woofers and tweeters. S-material has been optimized for the unique demands of the critical midrange.
Their last few generations of models have added some things to Wilson’s attractive mix of sonic characteristics: airy, open highs, as well as transparent and silky-smooth mids. The Alexx exhibited all of these desirable qualities, each of them done better, and with greater top-to-bottom coherence, than I’ve heard from any other Wilson speaker here... The very-limited-edition WAMM Master Chronosonic aside, the Alexx is easily the best big speaker Wilson Audio Specialties has produced.

The SkyFi Testing Process for Speakers:
Our speaker evaluation process starts with a visual inspection of all drivers. We are looking for damaged or deteriorating woofer surrounds, dented tweeter domes, and cone damage. We also inspect the speaker connection points for loose or broken connectors.
After the initial visual inspection we connect the speakers to a reference amplifier with our preferred test tracks. With the speakers placed with proper distance we listen to each driver to make sure that they are producing the intended frequencies with no signs of distortion or rattle. During listening tests with test tracks we check for proper stereo imaging and bass response at various listening levels. If there are any audible signs of issues, the speakers are taken to the bench where we perform a frequency sweep to isolate the issue so that it can be resolved by component repair or replacement.
