The wait is over! We just happened to acquire a serviced CR-7A ready to go.
While this isn't one of our full blown in-house restorations, it's evident someone with the proper knowledge serviced this machine recently and got it working to spec.
It required no attention from us other than thorough testing in our Sound Technology Recorder Test System.
Plus its super clean inside and out with no signs of significant wear. You can tell this machine had an easy life in someones living room, not a studio or pro site.
