A fresh (new) replacement laser was just installed for another 25 of reliable service. 

One of the best looking CD players out there, and the sliver CD drawer is quite a treat. Internally its a pleasure to work on with only the highest quality components available, worthy of a fighter jet or scientific instrument. 

Drawer components are machined out of aluminum and are simple in design and execution.  The power supply is ridiculously over-engineered. 

In the listening room we found this unit to be the one of the best redbook CD players ever made/ever auditioned.  Working perfectly without a single scratch of evidence of use. 

We don't use a physical condition rating of 9 lightly, reserving it for only new old stock pieces.  This unit comes VERY close.
