Few audiophiles this side of the pond realize the amazing equipment that Luxman in Japan is actually still manufacturing.  This unit is a tour de force and about the nicest integrated we've seen to date.  

This piece will arrive at your house looking like it just left the factory. Not a fingerprint or scratch to be seen anywhere and is priced accordingly. MSRP is $9500. 

We had to have a look inside to confirm that the build quality and exquisite exterior carried on into the internals - and boy were we pleased.  We snapped a few pictures so you can see yourself. 

While this is modern design and execution, vintage lovers will quickly notice that is still has all the features typically found on vintage receivers.  Notice the Speaker A/B selector, MC/MM knob, the ability to disengage the preamp from the amp, and a headphone jack.  Modern features include balanced inputs and outputs, along with a high quality remote.

The backlit VU meters and heavy aluminum casework makes this unit look like it cost a million bucks to build. Very few companies are still building audio at this extreme quality level.
