The EAR MC 3 is a step-up transformer meant to increase gain, allowing you to utilize a low output MC (Moving-Coil) cartridge on a MM (Moving-Magnet) input.
Super useful when using vintage preamps, integrated amps, and receivers with only a standard MM input.
This unit was tested and is working great, plus it comes with the original owners manual.
