We can confirm what the Stereophile review states after our testing - the 805's do not measure so well on the bench, but they sure deliver some magic in the listening room!

That's the thing we find over and over with tube amps, they have a sort of unmeasurable magic to your ears in real world listening every time.

This pair came to us from a single owner who clearly took excellent care of them. We went through them carefully to ensure perfect operation. We replaced both magic eye tubes (which give these amps some personality) and tested/biased the remaining tubes. See our second photo for the "eyes".

We then ran them for a few days with our reference Jadis horn speakers where they delivered the "magic".

These will come to you fitted with a set of tubes that perform to spec. Also included with your purchase is a a set of rare matching stands made specifically for these amps.

Physical condition is very good, with some of the metal plaques still having their protective plastic film affixed!

These amps retailed close to $10,000 without the stands, and with a complement of basic tubes.

We also have all of their original packaging to ensure safe travels.
