Akai CR-83D 8-Track Tape Player - Cool Retro Piece!

This is a novelty item, not a piece of HiFi equipment, and is meant for someone looking to experience an 8-track tape deck for the first time, or an experienced user looking for a nostalgic rush.
It has two cool backlit VU meters for the left and right channels, and a rotary counter for elapsed time.
This piece was serviced and is working. We lubricated all the moving parts and replaced the belts. It's mostly working now, but cannot guarantee its long term reliability since most 8-track players were cheaply made. We did not test the recording feature(s) as we did not have access to any blank 8-track tapes, and even if we found them due to 40+ years of age we doubt they would even function correctly.
Please note this is by no means a top performing format - so don't expect to hook it up to your HiFi and be blown away. Sound quality is "passable" but you should be able to recognize the song :-). Boy are we glad this format came and went, especially in cars!
It's also very cool looking to be placed on a shelf as a conversation piece.
Some Details:
The Akai CR-83D is an 8-track, 2-channel stereo system featuring automatic stop, continuous play and easy tape counting.
