System of The Week from the World of McIntosh townhouse in SoHo NYC
It’s placed between two original European clock dials and a vintage colonial era wood console, located at the World of McIntosh Townhouse in SoHo, NYC.
The equipment is just as special, doubling as a high-end 2-channel system and a fully featured surround system without any compromises.
On the 2-channel side we have a McIntosh C1100 Tube Preamp, MC2301 Tube Monoblock Amplifiers, MT5 Turntable, MCD500 SACD/CD player, and finally a D150 digital preamplifier/DAC.
On the theater side we have a MX122 Processor, MC205 5 Channel Amplifier, and a beautiful Sonus Faber Vox Tradition center channel speaker handmade in Italy.
The two systems work harmoniously by utilizing the clever theater passthrough feature built into many of the products from McIntosh.
