Jadis JS1 MKI - ALL TUBE DAC - AS NEW
This special Jadis JS1 came to us from a large collection that was meant for use in a reference system that unfortunately never materialized.
It was unboxed and tested here at SkyFi, but was never actually installed or used.
This early version of the formidable redbook DAC utilizes tubes in the audio section AND the power supply.
Later versions used solid state power supplies.
If you intend on using this just for CD's, don't bother with the later versions that are meant for streaming. This is the TOP of the top for standard CD's.
A perfect match for our Jadis JD1 Drive CD transports that are also available for a killer combination.
Comes complete with all of its original packaging and accessories as if it just left the factory.
Handmade in France around 2000 with a list price of $18,000, equaling about $27K in today's dollars.
