General:
This pair of Klipsch Cornwalls IV's in the popular American Walnut finish are lightly used and still look almost like new.

These are some of our favorite Klipsch speakers as their slimmer profile (depth) allows them to play loud in more spaces than the larger La Scalas or Klipschorn's.

Shipping:
These will ship anywhere within the lower 48 US States via truck freight on a pallet for a flat $450. Local courier is available, and pickup from our shop is always welcome (we'll help you load!). If you're in Alaska or Hawaii please contact us for options. We cannot sell or ship new Klipsch outside of the USA and you should contact the local dealer in your county to purchase. These speakers are exempt from any free shipping offers or promotions.

Available in 3 finishes:
1) NEW American Auburn
2) Black Ash
3) American Walnut

American Auburn replaces the longstanding Natural Cherry finish. This rich deep hue sits perfectly between Black Ash and American Walnut, adding a bold yet timeless look to the Heritage lineup.

More from Klipsch:
DESIGNED AND MADE IN THE USA
Like all Klipsch Heritage speakers, The Cornwall is a lifetime investment. Built to the strictest Klipsch standards, these speakers offer years of gratifying performance.

Remember great sound? We do, too. The Klipsch Cornwall enclosure is made in the USA, by proud craftsmen in Hope, Arkansas, just like Paul W. Klipsch (PWK) intended.

DRIVERS
The Cornwall IV incorporates an all new K-702 midrange compression driver, featuring a polyimide diaphragm for exceptional detail and dynamics. The K-702 midrange is mated to a modified Tractrix® horn — featuring our patented Mumps technology for even polar response of mid frequencies, giving you more consistent sound throughout the listening area.

NETWORK
The Cornwall IV has been completely revoiced from its predecessor, utilizing premium componentry in an all new high-fidelity network — minimizing electrical degradation throughout the circuitry — for truer to life sound with best in class efficiency and power handling. The new network draws from the classic three-way steep slope design of the legendary Klipschorn and La Scala speakers.

TRACTRIX® PORTS
Utilizing Tractrix geometry, the all new Cornwall IV ports allow for the most efficient, fastest air transfer in their class, which reduces port noise for punchier low frequencies. Klipsch Tractrix ports have custom designed inner flares that help reduce air turbulence entering the port. Less turbulent air helps reduce port noise for cleaner, more powerful bass.

BI-AMP INPUT PANEL AND BINDING POSTS
The Cornwall’s premium, aluminum input panel accommodates large, high-quality speaker cables. Strong, versatile and quality binding posts provide the capability for bi-wiring or bi-amping.

MATCHED PAIRS
Every pair of Heritage series loudspeakers is grain-matched, using wood veneer panels that come from the same timber. Each cabinet is carefully matched so that each speaker in the pair is practically indistinguishable from the other. The speakers move seamlessly together through the factory, and each finished product is inspected and labeled with sequential serial numbers, ensuring that your Heritage series speakers leave the factory as a meticulously crafted set.

BOOK-MATCHED WOOD VENEER
Klipsch only uses book-matched wood veneers for the Heritage series. The veneer leaves are kept in order as they are delicately sliced from the timber and precisely arranged to provide a mirror image at the splice joint — like turning the pages of a book. This gives each speaker an aesthetically appealing and consistent appearance that is treasured more than any other cut of wood veneer.

BUILT TO LAST
While each and every component of the Cornwall IV is built to last, Klipsch has always recognized the unique and critical role of a loudspeaker’s cabinet in the sound reproduction process. From the craftsmen in Hope, AR to the engineers in Indianapolis, IN, Klipsch has always put an extraordinary emphasis on cabinet design. The Cornwall enclosure is assembled using only the highest-grade adhesives and fasteners. This is a speaker you will hand down from generation to generation.

Testing Process:
Our speaker evaluation process starts with a visual inspection of all drivers. We are looking for damaged or deteriorating woofer surrounds, dented tweeter domes, and cone damage. We also inspect the speaker connection points for loose or broken connectors.

After the initial visual inspection we connect the speakers to a reference amplifier with our preferred test tracks. With the speakers placed with proper distance we listen to each driver to make sure that they are producing the intended frequencies with no signs of distortion or rattle.

During listening tests with test tracks we check for proper stereo imaging and bass response at various listening levels. If there are any audible signs of issues, the speakers are taken to the bench where we perform a frequency sweep to isolate the issue so that it can be resolved by component repair or replacement.

Our subwoofer evaluation process starts with a visual inspection of all drivers. We are looking for damaged or deteriorating woofer surrounds, cone damage, or rubbing voice coils. We also inspect the input connections for damage.

After the initial visual inspection we connect the sub at our bench and perform a sine wave sweep from about 200 Hz down to around 10 Hz. During this sweep we are listening for excessive rattle or other signs of improper function.

If the sweep passes we then increase the input level to evaluate how the woofer performs at high output levels. If the woofer has built-in crossover adjustments or multiple connection options these features are tested at this time.

We complete the subwoofer evaluation by feeding the unit with an audio signal in conjunction with our house music system to see how it responds to low frequency content in real world conditions while paired with a full range system.
